Tech x Lawyering
Smart tools? Smarter You.
Tech is not just about efficiency; it is about freeing up your mind for the work that truly matters. Yet, despite its growing role in modern practices, many lawyers hesitate to engage with it. Indeed, our ancient profession has thrived millennia on quill and parchment. Flashy tools can seem redundant, unnatural even.
Why this training?
I know Excel is helpful. But I just hate it!
an experienced lawyer
at an international court
This training is designed by a tech-savvy lawyer, Daphne Yuqing Liu, for her fellow lawyers. It will not force-feed you new tricks and make you an instant expert. Nor is it a mere walkthrough of software features and recently launched tools. Through real-world examples and practical demonstrations, I will show you how to apply tech to everyday legal work, whether it’s choosing the right tools for your team or discovering hidden gems in your toolbox you didn’t even know you already had.
Over the years, I have sporadically trained and consulted for practitioners in vastly different roles – from national legislators to university researchers. The feedback has been clear: what I teach is not just helpful – it is transformative! That is why I am now offering a dedicated training so more legal professionals can benefit.
Who is it for?
I’m sure there’s something that could make my life easier. I just don’t know what it is.

What you taught me was how I survived my PhD!
